Amsterdam – Imagewharf, a Steengoed development project, has been sold to a consortium of private investors.
The Ontwerpgebouw (Design Building) is part of the Imagewharf development project, located at Rigakade 20 and Danzigerbocht 41-45 in the Amsterdam Houthavens area.
Per 15 November 2017, the tenants Netraco Garments, Goosecraft, DNA Amsterdam, Krakatau BV, Ibana, Solotwentyfive, Blue Glory, Smashbox, New Motion, and Imagewharf will be able to move in their new premises.
The Ontwerpgebouw was designed by Allard Architecture in Amsterdam. The building consists of 4 floors on top of a parking garage, and is entirely executed in prefab concrete in the characteristic loft style. Typical features are the large open spaces, high ceilings, and an enormous amount of light flooding is, while the technical installations infrastructure is part of the architectural design.
The entire Imagewharf complex consists of three loft office buildings and a parking garage in the Amsterdam Houthavens area. Imagewharf is a joint initiative of a number of creative companies and Steengoed. The building volume is 17,500 m2 on a plot of nearly 1.5 hectares.
